Premium Standard Futon Mattress – Single, Double & King Size

Available in 5 different sizes and hand made by our expert manufacturing team the Premium Standard futon mattress offers superior quality, craftsmanship and integrity.

This mattress is designed for two seater (tri-fold) futon bases. It is a comfortable futon which still has the ability to bend to stay on the frame. It is 5″ thick.

The Premium Standard Futon Mattress contains the following layers:

  • Wool
  • Cotton Rich Felt
  • Cotton Rich Felt
  • Rebound Polyester
  • Cotton Rich Felt
  • Wool

The Cotton Rich felt is pure Cotton mixed with a little Polyester. This gives the appearance of a mainly Cotton futon having a white, fresh look with a Cotton smell. This makes the Cotton Rich a very popular product as Cotton is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The added Polyester helps prevent the Cotton from matting down and going lumpy like some of the old traditional all-Cotton futons used to do. The Cotton felts then have an extra loft Polyester core in the centre to increase its comfort. It also has Wool top and bottom.

    Great service, the delivery was efficient, helpful and fitted it to a time when we were home. The futon is top quality. Certainly an old fashioned futon with multiple layers of filling. Modern imitations are very poor in comparison! All rather gorgeous!

    Quality product and very comfortable to sleep on. Excellent service from the staff. I would recommend turning it over and flipping it around every few days to start with until it beds in. There are cheaper “futon” imitations available but they won’t be half as comfortable or last half as long so well worth the cost. My only regret is that I didn’t replace my old inferior mattress with one of these sooner!
